(I have an orange and white stripped tabby, named Toby, and he is very, very mellow. He tolerates a lot, like being held a lot, and all the hugs I give him. Do any of you have any kind of tabby that's very mellow? and What kind of cat breed do you think is the most mellow?)

I don't really know much about specific breeds but my tabby cat is very timid and runs away from people. He spends most of his life lurking under my bed!
I believe Siamese, Birmans and Persians enjoy a lot of attention but are quite demanding.
