(I want to get a cat because they are independent and stuff.. I would like a cat that is playful and exciting.. what would you recommend?)

I knew an owner who adopted a cat so many years back. All it did was walk in circles. It was so extremely kind and loving, but so hillarious because it couldnt walk without going in a circle. (no there was nothing wrong with it)
Id recommend adopting because alot of those animals will show you appreciation.
But I suppose if you had the money, there are a number of cats that display so many different styles and emotions.
Maine Coons definately have lovely personalities. Bengals are extremely playful and can be quite vocal (I love when my cats talk to me).
Id recommend looking up different breeds, and then youtubing them to see how they look and act.
My first kitty, I found him in my trashcan one morning. I took him in and he slept on my neck until he was old enough to be more independant and became a very loving and loyal friend.
I have a few from breeders and a few adopted. To be honest, the cats that were adopted seem to have the greatest personality and style.
I also have a Mynx, and that cat has so much love, its insane.
A few that I adopted, they will try to follow me when I walk, or they wait for me to pull up in the drive way to say hello and then go back to what they were doing.
Like I mentioned though, just google a bunch of different breeds and see wich ones are interesting to you. And then just youtube them or find photos online to see what they are like.
Go to some local pet stores or an animal shelter and mingle with a few of the cats.
